I had an appointment yesterday at 5 PM for a simple gel infill and color change. My nails were in perfect condition, so this should have been a straightforward job lasting no more than an hour. I also made it clear beforehand that I recently had major surgery, leaving me unable to sit for extended periods as my wounds are still healing and stitches are in place. Unfortunately, the experience was far from professional. She arrived unexpectedly at 4:40 PM, while I was still getting ready and waiting for a grocery delivery. Without greeting me, she continued speaking loudly on the phone as though addressing me, but was actually talking to someone else. She dropped her bags of supplies near me without care and mumbled something about finding parking while still on the phone. No apology, no acknowledgment of my situation. The appointment itself turned into an absolute ordeal. She started around 5:10 PM, and instead of working efficiently as I had politely requested due to my condition, she dragged the process out to over three hours. Her pace was painfully slow and almost deliberately torturous. Removing old gel became unnecessarily aggressive, causing discomfort, and applying polish one nail at a time felt unnecessarily meticulous to the point of absurdity. I repeatedly asked her to work faster, yet she seemed to slow down even more. Throughout the appointment, she received random phone calls from unknown numbers, commenting that people were asking her for money and claiming she was broke. The entire situation felt bizarre and highly unprofessional. Despite everything, I tipped her £40 out of kindness, but she didn’t even bother to thank me. This level of disregard and lack of professionalism, particularly after being informed of my health situation, is unacceptable. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for her to act more professionally in the future. Otherwise, I cannot recommend her services to others.
