What are natural lash extensions?
During your session, your beautician will place synthetic lashes directly onto your natural ones. They are placed lash-to-lash, on every other lash for a 50% fill. Not to worry: they pose no harm to your natural eyelashes! The result? Beautiful, natural looking lashes with incredible length and a subtle curl.

Practical info
The session is done lying down and lasts around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Don’t worry: your beautician will make sure you’re comfortable! It’s recommended that you schedule a fill-in appointment every 3-4 weeks to replace any lost lashes.

Are eyelash extensions for everyone?
Eyelash extensions make you look like you're wearing makeup all day. But this time, there's no risk of the mascara running... Even on your wedding day, I promise!
While eyelash extensions are possible for a large number of people, there are two exceptions where it is not recommended:
- If you have an eye disease or sensitive eyes
- If your eyelashes are too small or thin.
In any case, do not hesitate to ask your Wecasa beauty professional for advice before installing the extensions.
Which technique to choose for an eyelash extension?
There are many different eyelash extension techniques to beautify your look, including:
Classic eyelash extensions: this is the most popular technique. It allows you to have a natural look by applying an extension to each of your lashes.
Russian Volume eyelash extensions: this involves adding multiple extensions to each of your existing lashes, resulting in a thick, voluminous lash line. This look is perfect for special occasions or if you just want to add some extra glamour to your everyday look.
Mega volume lash extensions: this is the most dramatic look. It is achieved by adding even more extensions to each of your existing lashes. This look is perfect for special occasions or if you just want to add some extra glamour to your everyday look.
Hybrid lash extensions: a mix of both classic and Russian volume, this is the perfect technique if you’re looking for a more natural look with some added volume.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions usually last between 6 to 8 weeks, but this can vary depending on your natural lash cycle and how well you take care of your extensions.
To extend the life of your extensions, it is important to avoid rubbing your eyes, using oil-based products around the eye area, and sleeping on your stomach.
It is also important to note that you will need to visit your lash technician for a touch-up every 3 to 4 weeks to fill in any gaps caused by natural lash shedding.
If you take good care of your extensions, you can expect them to last 6-8 weeks!
How to maintain the natural eyelash extension right after application?
To keep a look as vibrant as ever after applying natural eyelash extensions, it is important to follow a few recommendations:
- After installation, avoid contact with water for 24 to 48 hours. It is also not recommended to expose yourself to humidity (sauna, hammam);
- After the first 48 hours, it is possible to wet the extensions and it is even recommended to do so when you cleanse your face;
- Avoid contact with sea water during the entire period when your eyelashes have extensions;
- Brush the eyelash extensions at least two to three times a week as soon as they are dry;
- Do not wear mascara and absolutely never waterproof mascara which would be too difficult to remove. Anyway, it will be useless with the volume of the extensions;
- It is possible to continue to wear eyeliner, pencil or eyeshadow, provided you remove make-up;
- For eye make-up removal, opt for oil-free make-up removers;
- Avoid rubbing your eyes and generally do not touch the extensions.
