Cleaning: Deep cleaning

The person was 45 minutes late and whilst this was communicated it impacted personal plans. I paid for a deep clean, and this fell well below the standard. I left verbal and written instructions on area to clean and these were not properly followed, particularly in relation to downstairs. The cleaning of the bathroom was fair, although the floor was thoroughly cleaned. The downstairs was appalling. The lounge and kichen floors had lots of dust and dirt marks in the same places preceding the clean, with a significant amount under the sofa, dining table and on skirting boards. The floor was dry and clearly not mopped. The hallway had what seemed to be a cursory hoover but still be dust/dirt on skirting boards and floor. There was no communication about whether any tasks could not have been done in the time paid for. This wasn’t even a clean, let alone a deep clean. I am in shock the person felt satisfied to leave given the state the downstairs remained in.
