Cleaning: classic one-off cleaning

I am very disappointed with the service. I normally book for 3 hours, as that’s what’s needed to clean the house properly, but our regular cleaner was away, so we tried this cleaner instead. Unfortunately, the experience was very poor. The cleaner arrived early, which was a positive start, but she claimed to be finished after only 1 hour despite being booked for 3 hours. When I asked how she could be done so quickly, she insisted everything was completed and said she would still be paid for the full 3 hours. I asked her to continue cleaning, but her lack of attention to detail was frustrating. She didn’t vacuum under the coffee table or dining table, and the taps were still dirty. I had to repeatedly point out areas she missed, and nothing was cleaned thoroughly. I ended up vacuuming the house myself because it wasn’t done properly. The bathroom tiles still had mildew, the taps weren’t shiny, and several areas like the side table and blinds were completely ignored. After 1.5 hours, she said there was ‘nothing left to do’ and even suggested charging me less. However, the job was far from satisfactory. I expected a professional service, but this was a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this cleaner to anyone.
