Needed an end of tenancy clean, I was messaged with the pdf of what needed doing, I filled out the form and was quite specific with what needed doing, I had done the hoovering already and just needed the bathroom and kitchen done as my partner and were exhausted from the move. The cleaner messaged me asking me if I could move the time 90 mins before the intended session. I had rented a car so needed to hand it back at a certain time. After some back and forth, In the end the cleaner said 12 is fine, 30 mins before the time we had initially agreed and she had accepted. On the day I received a call at 12:19 saying she is close by but not sure where my house was. It’s very clearly labelled. Not only was she late she also left around 10 mins early. She bashed my chair into my tv as she needed to get access to clean a cupboard. She also asked to use our cleaning supplies despite me specifically saying no on the form? All of this would have been acceptable IF the house was cleaned properly. Certain parts were cleaned well but others it seemed like it wasn’t even touched. My partner and I have to then spend an additional 2 hours going over the bits that were supposedly cleaned. Not what we needed after moving all our stuff halfway across the country. This is my first time using the service and I’m sad to say I’m very disappointed. We have to hand the keys first thing tomorrow and we’re having to go over almost EVERYTHING the cleaner did. I would like a full refund please for the stress and anxiety caused, both my partner and I are in agony after not only doing heavy lifting today and yesterday, but then also having to spend even more time cleaning on top of this.
