I booked a two-hour cleaning service with a cleaner named Frank via Wecasa, and unfortunately, it was a very poor experience. When he arrived (late), I explained the tasks I wanted done and suggested roughly 30 minutes per area of my small one-bedroom flat. He said it wouldn’t take the full two hours and mentioned he might leave early — but that he could just “wait around” if finished early, which already felt unprofessional. I returned at the agreed time and was shocked to find that very little had been done — the flat looked almost untouched. Dust was still clearly visible, skirting boards and doors hadn’t been cleaned, and even the bathroom (which he claimed he had done) hadn’t been properly wiped down. Taps were still dirty and surfaces hadn’t been touched. When questioned, he changed his story and suddenly said the bathroom alone would take four hours. It felt like an attempt to scam me out of more time and money. I ended the session and took photos to document the lack of work done. I’m now in the process of requesting a full refund through Wecasa. Extremely disappointing – I expected basic professionalism and honesty at the very least.
