Wecasa home services insurance

Thanks to Collective Benefits, Wecasa guarantees home services with complete peace of mind.

With Wecasa, you can book a little me time to break the daily routine or help you save time to tackle your to-do list. We have partnered with Collective Benefits, so a stain on the floor or a broken vase does not spoil the fun. All services booked on Wecasa are automatically and free of charge, insured by Collective Benefits, thanks to the Professional Liability insurance.

What is covered by Professional Liability insurance?

The insurance covers 2 types of damage:

  • accidental bodily injury to a third party; and/or
  • accidental damage to the property of a third party.

Please note that there is an excess of £150 for accidental property damage claims: this means that, for property damage claims, the professional will have to cover up to £150 of the damage. You can consult the details of the guarantees in this document: Insurance Product Information Document.

Who is covered?

I am a Wecasa customer.

Through Professional Indemnity insurance, Collective Benefits cover the professional who comes to your home. This insurance covers accidental bodily injury and damage to property that the professional may inadvertently cause in your home. Collective Benefits guarantee that you will be compensated in the event of damage to your home.

I am a Wecasa partner

Wecasa offers you Professional Liability Insurance for all services booked on the platform. We pay for this insurance to provide a secure environment for both professionals and clients. Thanks to Collective Benefits, you can be sure you will not have to pay large sums if you cause damage to a client.

After you’ve partnered with us, Collective Benefits will contact you on the first of the month with instructions on how to set up the insurance and make a claim. Don’t worry if you start accepting proposals before; that’s fine. The insurance is retroactive.

Please note: This insurance does not cover you at your own clients’ houses, meaning clients outside the Wecasa platform.

What to do in case of damage?

If you suffer damage during a Wecasa appointment, please get in touch with our customer service team immediately. Our team will tell you how to claim compensation via our website.

Services covered by the insurance

The Collective Benefits insurance covers all the services currently offered by Wecasa, namely:

If you are a massage therapist, beautician or hairdresser, please note that this insurance only covers accidental injury, not professional indemnity or malpractice (for example, a client burned by wax or injured by a massage). Therefore, although it is not compulsory, we strongly recommend that massage therapists, beauticians and hairdressers take out additional professional indemnity insurance and send us a copy.

What is not included in the contract
